Christian Louboutin is about to hear his name in court yet again, but this time he needn't worry about losing any trademark battles .

The New York Post reports that Daniel Shak believes his former wife, Beth Shak, neglected to reveal her 1,200 pairs of designer shoes when they divorced in 2009. Mr Shak is convinced that his ex - with whom he shared a plush Fifth Avenue apartment - hid her collection in a "secret room", and that its value may entitle him to hundreds of thousands of dollars more in their divorce settlement.

Mrs Shak, a wealthy woman in her own right owing to her career as a professional world-series poker player, says she's baffled by her husband's claims: "I'm shaking my head over this whole thing. He is saying he didn't know the closet in our master bedroom existed."

Last year, Beth spoke to WWD about her ever-growing footwear collection, revealing that approximately 700 of her 1,200 pairs of shoes were by Christian Louboutin.

"He has an eye for design and he knows what a woman wants," she said. Her most expensive pair? "Alligator pumps by Christian Louboutin. They were upwards of $4,000."

Now, if only we could find the "secret room" of shoes in our house…
